Week 5

For this week, we got our feedback for our proposals and started moving on to writing our critical reviews.

Feedback
Problem Statement (PS)
Did you review these statements from all these references Abby?
# 1 to find out how mobile applications help in mental health,
#2 how can we create mobile applications that are useful for mental health
#3 to encourage psychologists to promote the use of these apps in their treatment or patients
Abby please reflect these points that I have extracted from your PS
Can you accomplish these issues within the 9 weeks of this module?
addiction or addition?
Research Questions
1) What is your main intention of asking these Questions?
2) Ultimately, don't you want to research about mobile apps usability or UI or UX instead that can help you create or produce one for your portfolio?
3) What and how do you want to achieve by asking these questions?
If you manage to have the answer to these questions, how they or the information gained can help you (refer to #2 above)
Research objectives (RO)
My comment would be similar to what I have raised in your Research Questions section.
Do you think you can achieve all to these ROs within this left over 9 weeks of research time?
Ultimately, don't you want your research findings would enable you to create a functional apps ?
have you read all these references?
reflect the issue I have raised and we discuss the way forward ok. Thank you!

Week 6

We had to show our critical reviews we wrote to Dr Hayati. I only managed to write one and a half because the other research paper I found was irrelevant to my topic.

Feedback
Dr Hayati told me to not use informal language such as for, with, and, from, but to start a sentence when writing academically. She also told me to spell out the numbers I used like 2 to two unless it’s in numerical data. Other than that, she also mentioned that when talking about the ‘readers’ change it to either researches and designers because I am referring to myself as the third person. Moreover, I should describe mHealth in the introduction and give my opinions no matter if it’s good or bad.

Week 7

I managed to complete all seven critical reviews just in time for the due date.

Feedback
There were no feedback given because we were focusing on completing our seven critical reviews.
